Super Tutor & Team Lead – Story Time Chess (Orlando, FL)

About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate, creative educator to be the Super Tutor & Team Lead for Story Time Chess Orlando! This role is part teacher, part leader, and all about making magic happen in every classroom. As the Super Tutor, you’ll be the face of Story Time Chess in Orlando - teaching our unique story-based classes, mentoring and managing a team of tutors, and ensuring our program delivers fun, excellence, and lasting impact.

About Story Time Chess
We’re the only program in the world that teaches children as young as 3 to play chess - completely through stories, characters, and play. With thousands of kids learning every week across NYC, LA, and beyond, we’re expanding rapidly and looking for leaders who want to grow with us. Story Time Chess Orlando launched in 2025 and has grown fast - from zero to 40 schools in under a year. As our Super Tutor & Team Lead, you'll join a high-growth startup at the ground floor and help shape something big in Orlando.

What You’ll Do

  • Teach and model engaging Story Time Chess lessons in schools and community programs, serving as the “gold standard” for our curriculum.

  • Recruit, train, and mentor tutors in the Orlando market.

  • Observe and coach tutors to ensure quality and consistency.

  • Manage tutor scheduling, reporting, and lesson delivery.

  • Be the brand ambassador with schools, parents, and the community.

  • Drive our growth in Orlando by building strong relationships, launching new locations, and creating opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with teaching or working with children ages 3–8.

  • A natural storyteller with strong classroom presence.

  • Experience with training and managing a team.

  • High-energy, positive, and aligned with our mission: making learning joyful, memorable, and impactful.

  • Startup-ready mindset with the drive and flexibility to support a growing business.

  • Familiarity with chess fundamentals is a bonus, but not essential.

What We Offer

  • Full-time salary: $40,000 – $50,000.

  • Opportunity to lead and shape a growing educational team.

  • A role where fun and excellence go hand-in-hand.
