We’re the only program in the world that teaches children as young as 3 to play chess - completely through stories, characters, and play. With thousands of kids learning every week across NYC, LA, and beyond, we’re expanding and looking for leaders who want to grow with us. Story Time Chess Orlando launched in 2025 and has grown rapidly - from zero to 40 schools in under a year. You'd be joining a high-growth startup at the ground floor and helping shape something special in Orlando.
We’re looking for an experienced educator to lead our Orlando program as our Lead Teacher & Program Manager - a role that is part teacher, part leader, and all about making magic happen in every classroom.
The job has two parts:
Classroom Instruction: You will teach our award-winning program in classrooms. The curriculum is fully designed and ready to deliver, allowing you to focus on engaging students rather than spending time on lesson planning.
Team Leadership & Operations: You will lead and coach our team of fun, creative tutors and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
If you’re organized, love being in the classroom with young kids, and are a natural mentor, this role is for you!
